The taxonomy of regexs

Regexs have a very simple taxonomy:

  • Mind-blowingly clean
  • Mind-blowingly dirty
  • “Now you have two problems”

If you’re not sure what kind of regex you’re looking at, you have at least two problems. Enjoy!
